B’JAY

B’JAY, the youngest rapper, singer, and songwriter who rose to prominence in a short period of time, was born and raised in Curaçao.

His passion for music began at a very young age. He was introduced to the music industry through the very popular boy group DXBT, part of the music label Decoded, which gained a strong following among youngsters. As he grew, B’JAY began to focus on broadening his talent by expressing real-life experiences through the music he wrote and recorded.

In 2021, with the release of his debut solo album titled “Becoming”, he discovered the power of his artistry. “Balaclava”, the biggest hit from this project, marked the launch of his now fast-growing career.

B’JAY enjoys using his leadership skills to explore new and creative ways to express his talent through music. He is an inspiration to the artists he has had the chance to work with, each in their own unique way. His collaborations with other well respected names in the Dutch music scene demonstrate his strong ability to absorb and adapt to different musical styles.

As a result of his hard work, B’JAY was named Artist of the Year in both November 2022 and 2023.
